FAQ
Questions business owners ask
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Once you’re signed in you can message an advisor or our assistant directly from your account.
- Does checking my options affect my credit score?
- No. Seeing what your business qualifies for uses a soft inquiry, which never affects your credit score. A hard inquiry only happens if and when you choose to accept a specific offer — and we always tell you before that happens.
- Who actually lends the money — is 37Lend a bank?
- 37Lend is a funding marketplace, not a bank or a direct lender. We verify your business once and match your application against a network of lenders and financing partners, who each decide their own terms. You compare their real offers in your account and choose the one that fits.
- How are offers ranked or ordered?
- We show every offer you receive — sorted by whatever matters most to you (lowest cost, lowest payment, largest amount, or fastest funding). We don't hide or bury any offer a lender sends back.
- What if I don't qualify, or a lender declines me?
- You'll see clearly what's blocking approval and what would help — more time in business, stronger revenue, a document we still need. In some cases we can route your application to a second look with a different set of lenders.
- How fast can my business get funded?
- It depends on the product and lender — a merchant cash advance can move in a day or two, while an SBA loan takes longer because of the additional underwriting involved. Every application shows an estimated funding speed on each offer.
- What documents will I need?
- It varies by product and lender, but most applications need recent bank statements, and some ask for tax returns or a profit & loss statement. We'll only ask for what a lender actually needs to make a decision, and you can upload everything from your account.
- Is my information secure?
- Your application data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only shared with the lenders you actually apply through. We never sell your information.
- I'm not ready to apply yet — can I still ask questions?
- Yes. Once you have an account, you can message an advisor or our assistant any time, before or after you apply.
